Tengo problemas instalando la versión Debian, de Linux, en mi computadora. Nada nuevo por aquí, siempre he tenido muchos problemas instalando y modificando softwares libres (aunque la versión Ubuntu fue bastante fácil) . Me da la impresión que muchas de estas aplicaciones al ser hechas por geeks, en colaboración con otros geeks, y bajo la crítica principal de…geeks, se olvidan bastante del usuario promedio y son poco user friendly. O por lo menos eso me gusta pensar, por que la otra posible razón para mis constantes problemas es que soy un morón para estas cosas (abstenganse de comentario en ésto, por favor).

De todas formas, el siguiente es un mensaje que voy a poner en algunos foros sobre Debian a ver si consigo ayuda. Si alguien cree que no me estoy explicando bien o que falta poner alguna información importante sobre el problema, pues sería una gran ayuda que me dijera.

I recently bought a Debian Sarge 3.1 DVD Edition, but I have problems with the installation. After I configured all that the system asked me (as language, country, keyboard, network, login, password, domain, etc) then it asked for the login and password that I wrote, and after that, there appeared a line (just like that: ” admin@abeyno: ~$”) to write, I suppose, functions. I don’t know what I have to do in this part and why I can’t access the operting system. Do you know a good and easy to follow tutorial to install Debian? I was using this one, but it finish just in the part that I have the problem.
